Art for Kids
For Children Ages 5 – 13 Max: 10 Students per Class
- Mondays, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., September 25 – November 27, 2006
Fee: $250 for 10 Weeks
- Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. – 12 p.m., September 23 – December 2, 2006

- Develop drawing skills & techniques; learn concepts of contour, proportion, volume, structure, shading & composition. 2-D & 3-D (sculpture) projects, depending on class interest.
Art For Teens Lots of Fun!
MAX: 10 students per class
- Wednesdays, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., October 4 – November 22
Fee: $240 for 8 weeks.
- Expand on your drawing & painting skills, create sculptures with clay
and mixed media materials. Develop a portfolio! Limited to 10 students.
Ceramic Sculpture & Functional Art
Entertain with your creations!

Wheel throwing, slab and hand building with clay to incorporate
sculpture with your unique art ware: Abstract and/or figurative
sculptures, sculptural platters, mugs, trivets, votives, sake sets
and more
Kid's Night Out
For ages 5 - 13 on Friday evenings as listed below for first 12 enrolled. Fun for kids while parents holiday shop or dine out! Art projects go home at the end of the night!
All 6 Fridays: $150 per student or $35 per class.

Create a Jack-o-Lantern relief, from clay to plaster to paint!
- Friday, October 20, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Halloween project.
- Friday, November 3, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Draw a Pumpkin using value & shading, pencil & chalk pastels.
- Friday, November 17, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Holiday Wreath Sculpture from nature.
- Friday, December 8, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Snowman Door Decoration ( 18" Height)
- Friday, December 15, 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Drawing animals, looking for shapes with chalk pastels.
Note: Fees include all materials. No registration fees.
Art Camps for Winter!
LAAA's Art Camps consist of an integrated program to include lots of art, acting, singing, karaoke, dance, drawing, painting, sculpture, drum circle and more!
- Winter Art Camp
December 18 - 22, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. $250 per Week
- This camp is f or kids ages 5 to 15. Enjoy lots of art, including drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, gingerbread houses, and more!
Summer Art Camp
- 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Wednesdays, Field Trip Day: 9:00 a.m. –- 5:00 p.m. Fun for kids, ages 5 to 18 years old with a 12:1 ratio.
- Lots of art, drawing, painting, sculpture, acting, singing, karaoke, dance, drum circles & more!
